7 Day Happy Family Dog

  • 1 Go Home lesson
  • 2 Follow-up lessons

10 Day Obedience in Motion

  • Heel with auto-sit, sit & down at left side with stay, sit & down in front of dog with stay, sit in motion, come, and place mat command
  • Hand signals for heel & down at left side, come, and different signals for sit & down in front of dog
  • Leash manners to correct pulling on leash and to stop jumping on people
  • New leather leash & training collar
  • 10 Full days of boarding & training
  • 1 Go Home lesson
  • 2 Follow-up lessons
  • Price determined during evaluation

7 Day Off-Leash

  • All previously taught commands will be reviewed and performed both inside and outside with toys and dogs as distractions while off-leash.
  • 1 Go Home Lesson will be held outside off leash
  • 7 Full days of boarding & training
  • 1 Follow-up lessons
  • Minimum age is 10 months
  • Available from May – November due to weather restrictions
  • Prerequisite: Must complete a 5, 7, or 10 day residency program prior to enrolling in the off-leash program

Refresher Training

  • Limited to dogs who have already completed a residency at One Smart K-9, even years after initial training.
  • Designed as a way to review your dog’s obedience in a familiar and comfortable environment instead of leaving your dog at a “Boarding Only Facility.”
  • Perfect when you are away, no matter the reason.
  • 2 Private lessons are given each day.
  • Group playtime and walks are also included.
  • 1 Brief Go-Home Lesson to review dog commands.

Benefits of Residency Training

  • 4 Private lessons are given daily.
  • Dogs receive 5, 7 or 10 days of intensive training from a Certified Professional Trainer
  • Faster, more reliable results are achieved due to the Trainer’s insightful instruction employing a balance of Meaningful Motivation, Powerful Praise and Quick Corrections.
  • All dogs are kept on a schedule and comfortable by providing plenty of outside walks starting at 7 a.m. and ending at 9 p.m.
  • Follow-up lessons are given after the residency to explain the commands, transfer leadership and show you effective communication skills with your dog.

 

Steps to Becoming a One Smart K-9

Prior to training, a FREE evaluation needs to be completed. You can book that in the form below. At that time a tour of the facility is given along with a demonstration of dog obedience. A canine questionnaire will be completed to gather information, recognize problems and find solutions. Your dog’s personality will also be determined and explain how it relates to training. Any other questions you might have will be answered to help find the right training program, accomplish your goals and better serve your needs.
